"Animales y bomberos" is a multi-channel experimental audiovisual and documentary installation that explores the contemplation of disaster and the significance of its image. Instead of denouncing or pointing the finger at blame, this work seeks to capture the icon that emerges in our minds when we witness the tragedy in real-time. Through the repetition and constant dissemination of these images, the work examines how they become entrenched in the collective unconscious, fueled by the incessant sharing of these fragments of reality.
