I've been able to call "my studio" two places so far. The first was in the iconic "Casa tia" workshops. More than 20 last semester artists occupied the space for several months at a time, each assigned an open cubicle. We lived among each other and our artworks, and although it was cold and sometimes smelly, it was my second home for over a year.
The second and current one is in the cultural hub "Casa Ratrap" in the heart of "San Luis" in Chapinero district. Musicians, artists, designers, ceramists, and tattoo shops inhabit this old English-style house. Casa Ratrap opens its doors to all kinds of artistic expressions, both for its residents and for guests, offering a safe space for counter-culture in the ever-growing Bogotá.
